Hi! My name is Maya, and I have just arrived, so I don't really know all that much about myself yet, but my Big Brother Ben is helping me figure it out. Ben is nearly two years old, and he knows a whole bunch. I really think he'll help me figure out the big, bright place.
Right now, my life consists of sleeping, eating, going on walks with mommy and daddy and Ben. Ben likes to play with his cars, color, and go outside to swing and play in the pool.
Sometimes they put me in this weird basket type thing and clip me into this big green moving machine, and mommy, daddy, Ben, and I go to see new places. It's really neato.
A pretty slow weekend in the Swaggerty household. Not much going on at all. Lets see...Elizabeth graduated with her PhD, was surprised by a visit from her mom to see her graduate, and a party in her honor. Other than that, pretty slow indeed.
Eliz, you are almost as cute as Ben!! Good thing your grad hat isn't placed like it was at your high school graduation. Hee. Ben is getting so BIG! Love the pic with Mom and Ben. LOVE his newsboy cap... PERFECT!!!
The weekend was so exciting knowing that Noni was coming and worried that we would tell.Andy did a super job planning all the surprises and every thing went well .So good to have our special company this weekend. Enjoyed it very much. love to all
Well, you'll be happy to know the picture of Elizabeth and Ben at graduation made me cry!! Sensory overload = the new baby + the new PhD. I am so proud of you Dizzie!
Sorry I couldn't make it to the festivities...since I was in Palo Alto with my own new baby (Jack) and of course Juliana. My sister reads this blog and is considering making her own. What a great way to preserve Ben's babyhood! An electronic baby book!! You guys are so tech-savvy!!
