Not sure who wins this match, but it's obvious that we're both having a lot of fun.

Also, Ben's a little sick today. He has either a head cold or allergies, but no fever. Nothing major, but since we've been fortunate enough to have a nearly cold free boy up until now, I thought I'd share with you about his cold.

TWENTY THREE MINUTES OF BEN TV

Note to the grandparents--DON'T get overly excited while watching this video. At your age, weak tickers can be an issue and we do not want your excitement to cause any ill effects to you. Ben needs his grandparents, but enjoy all the same.

Beach Blanket Bengo

After two days of packing and planning, Ben went to the beach today for the first time. We loaded the car with towels, and blankets, and chairs, and snacks, and sunscreen, and pretty much every possible beach thing you can imagine.

After about 45 minutes (well, really have about five minutes when we sat him down in the water) he was over it. I don't think that it was so much that he didn't like it, but he has a short nap span, and he hit the wall pretty quick. Maybe the sand in the diaper had something to do with it also.

Anyway, here are a few pictues and we have video of his first time in the water, but that will have to wait until we return.

Saturday in Florida Highlights

Here are a few highlights from Ben's time in FL so far. He's been a bit off throwing a couple of fits, but overall has been quite good. We believe he is completely adjusted now, and you can tell from these pics that he's have a great time overall.

Sandbox Threads is now accepting orders. I have learned that we have a few more blog viewers than just close relatives to Ben, and so I wanted to share this info with everyone in Ben's Blogland.

Ben's doing great. We're in FL, and his first plane ride was a breeze. He's trying to sleep off the jetlag though. And he's already been in the pool twice.

Forget Crawling--Straight to Walking

While the title of this post is true, and you are about to see a little one walking for the very first time, it's not Ben--he still hasn't figured out crawling. This video is of Ben's new friend from swim class, Sydney. And she decided to take her first steps in our den tonight. Tooth, Shirt, and Onesie

On face value alone, there is nothing all that special about these photos except for the extremely cute, funny, and quickly growing boy pictured. His name is Ben, and there is quite a bit special about him. These photos also feature the shirts we will be offering on SandboxThreads.com. E & I were pleasantly surprised by the quality and look of them. As you can see, Ben likes them too.

First Tooth

You may just have to take our word on it, but these pictures help to confirm that Ben's first tooth has broke through the skin. Look closely, and you just might be able to see it in these photos.

Ben's Photo Shoot

As most of you know, we're opening an online business, and we needed a baby to model our gear. Elizabeth took matters into her own hands this morning and did a little photo shoot with Ben. Bathtub Fun

Happy Half Birthday Ben!!!!!!!

Ben's half a year old today. Here are a few pictures from the last couple of days.

Ben is crawling (sort of), but backwards only. He gets around pretty well, but he does take the long way around. He's eating oatmeal now as well. And boy does he know that he's about to eat. Show him a bottle or cup of food and the little guy talking and smiles and jumps around. He is also pretty good at standing up on his own, well, when we put his hand on, say the crib or table, he can then keep himself pretty steady for a half minute or so. Next up, forward crawling and walking?

Swimming Lessons

To the worry warts--

This is a video of Ben's 3rd swim lesson. Last night he attended his 5th class. With the exception of the first class, we have Ben putting Ben under the water. The one video image of us putting him under is the time that he got a little choked. Since this video was made, very little water has been swallowed. Enjoy.

Ben Goes Bananas

I'm sure at some point we will find a food that Ben does not like, but at this point, he'll eat anything we try to feed him. Today's menu--milk, rice cereal, and bananas. Pureed bananas look YUMMY!!!!

Happy Birthday to Daddy

Now as you know, Daddy, me, is the author of this blog. So when I write Happy Birthday to Daddy, I'm writing to myself which may be considered a bit vain. Anyway, yesterday, Daddy turned 33. We didn't do a whole bunch yesterday although Elizabeth cooked me a birthday breakfast dinner, but thanks to my cunning wife, I was surprised by a wave of visitors this past weekend.

This montley crew began arriving Thursday, and we had a great time all weekend long. THANK YOU ELIZABETH and GANG!!!!!
